Crosswinds Communities Named One of Metro Detroit’s 101 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For

NOVI, MI – October 18, 2004 – Crosswinds Communities, a Novi-based company building single family homes, town homes, commercial developments and Master-Planned Communities in Michigan and six other states, has been named one of Metropolitan Detroit’s 101 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For by the Michigan Business and Professional Association (MBPA). The announcement was made by Crosswinds president Bernie Glieberman.

Companies selected to receive the award represent the leading edge in human resources practices in many diverse industries. Honorees are national and multinational companies as well as local businesses.

“We are very proud to receive this honor,” Glieberman said. “It’s nice to be recognized for something we’ve known all along, that Crosswinds is a great place to work with employees who are second-to-none in terms of quality and customer service.”

“A company is only as good as its employees,” said Jennifer Kluge, executive vice president of the MBPA. “Local companies receiving this award understand this, and have designed programs to train, motivate and retain valuable employees. We’re proud to showcase the best of metro Detroit and honor their achievements.”

Nominated companies will also vie for the ten Elite awards in the categories of diversity and multiculturalism, work-life balance, employee communication and recognition, compensation and benefits, employee education and development, recruitment and retention, employee motivation and enthusiasm, community initiatives, strategic planning and integration and the Lisa Wicker “Best of the Best” award.
