Monroe Area Attractions
The City of Monroe is well recognized as a delightful place to live. The town is home to several city and state parks, and historical homes, buildings and war memorials display Monroe’s deep sense of history and patriotism.

Many golf courses offer challenging play, and the River Raisin Centre for the Arts offers live productions and educational programs. The Monroe Riverwalk from Munson Park to Soldier’s and Sailor’s Park along the River Raisin is a lovely place to stroll and relax. Sailing regattas and canoeing are a common sight on the crisp, clean waters of Lake Erie.
